Basil Health, a beverage retail brand, has secured $1.5 million in pre-Series A funding from Whiteboard Capital, Brigade REAP, and the Barbershop Fund, with contributions from investors like Deep Bajaj and Siddharth Kothari.
The funds will be used to expand its presence in cities, enhance its supply chain, and focus on brand development and team growth.
Co-founded in 2023 by Harshita Kejriwal, Akshay Chaudhari, and Karan Dwivedi, Basil Health is building a national network through compact kiosks and proprietary automated machines.
With over 70 operational touchpoints, the startup employs IoT-enabled technology to create café-quality beverages at scale.
The innovative systems allow for real-time monitoring and operational control, helping to standardize production and improve margins.
Basil aims to grow to 1,000 touchpoints in three years, operating in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Chandigarh through kiosks and automated machines.
