The first trailer for the fourth entry in the ‘Bad Boys’ series, which opens in theatres on June 7, as Will Smith and Martin Lawrence make a comeback.

Sony Pictures unveiled the highly-anticipated trailer for the sequel, Ride or Die, on Tuesday.

This exciting preview brings together the dynamic duo of Smith, 55, and Lawrence, 58, as they reunite for another thrilling adventure, almost three decades after the release of the original film in 1995.

Smith couldn’t contain his excitement and took to Instagram, captioning a post with, we are back in this thang! Get ready for an action-packed ride like never before!

The stories of Smith and Lawrence’s characters as Miami Police Department detectives are chronicled in the Bad Boys films; according to a current plot summary, the two are back with their trademark group of hilarious comedy and curious action, but with a new twist, this time around and Miami’s best are now fugitives.

In January 2023, Smith and Lawrence madly opened up that a fourth Bad Boys film was in the making. They took to Instagram to share a video with the caption: “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”

Smith started the video by filming himself on his way to Lawrence’s house, teasing his followers with a piece of indication about his exciting news. The upbeat tune of “Shake Ya Tailfeather” by Nelly, Diddy, and Murphy Lee from the Bad Boys II soundtrack filled the car.

Lawrence and Smith were seen shooting scenes for Bad Boys: Ride or Die several times in spring 2023, with sightings in April, May, and June in Atlanta. During the June shoot, the duo was captured in their police uniforms, embodying their characters Mike and Marcus.

The highly anticipated film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, has been making waves even before its release. The dynamic costars recently made a virtual display at CinemaCon 2023, where they gave fans a taste of what’s to come.

According to Variety, revealed they were already four weeks into filming, building up the excitement for this action-packed movie.

When did the 1st Bad Boys movie come out?

With Bad Boys for Life, which was released before the 7 April 1995 and the second coronavirus pandemic closed theatres, the duo known as Adil & Bilall scored a hit and went on to become the highest-grossing movie of 2020.

More of their work was seen by the public in 2022 when Marvel released the episodes of the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel that they had directed and the third series is out in 2023 and the fourth is now.

Vanessa Hudgens and Alexander Ludwig, two of the younger actors who starred with Smith and Martin in Bad Boys for Life, are back in the follow-up.
